Hi, my Sunshines,
I know I’m a bit late with this year’s summer bucket list, I’ve been busy getting my life together these past few months, and honestly, I just didn’t have much time to write. But hey, it’s still not too late to make this summer count! These are the things I want to explore before the season ends, and I truly hope you’ll dive into them with me. The sun is shining — just like you, my little Sunshines — and this list is packed with adventure, creativity, and a touch of uniqueness. Let’s make the most of it together! ☀️✨
Take a Road Trip
There’s something freeing about hitting the road, blasting music, and not knowing exactly what you’ll find. Whether it’s a solo trip or one with friends, driving somewhere new even if it’s just a few hours away sounds amazing to me. The goal? A little wanderlust, a lot of memories.
Go to a Fair or Outdoor Festival
Cotton candy. Ferris wheels. Sunset skies. Local food trucks. I’m craving that chaotic, colorful, completely nostalgic energy. One night of just being part of the crowd and enjoying summer in full bloom.
Go Horse Riding
I’ve always wanted to try horse riding, not for the aesthetic photos (though let’s be honest, they’ll be cute), but for the experience itself. Being outdoors, connecting with an animal, and seeing the world from a different perspective? Sounds dreamy.
Go Hiking
No phones. No rush. Just fresh air, birdsong, and the sound of gravel under my shoes. I want at least one day this summer where I completely unplug and hike purely for the joy of it.
Take a Friend Trip Abroad
Even if it’s budget-friendly or last-minute, This is the opportunity to escape with friends this summer. Shared playlists, travel chaos, late-night talks, these are the memories that stick.
Watch the Sunrise and Sunset
I don’t know why this feels like such a powerful reset, but it does. Starting the day watching the sky shift into gold and ending it watching it melt into pink, it reminds me how beautiful the simple things are.
Have a Digital Detox Week
This is a big one. Go offline – like, really offline. No social media, no endless scrolling, no checking notifications out of habit. Just books, walks, music, journaling, and being 100% present with life. I’ve already talked about digital detox in one of my previous posts. So don’t forget to check it out!
Family Movie Night
Sometimes, the best memories are the coziest ones. Movie nights at home – snacks, blankets, inside jokes, and rewinding to rewatch the funniest parts. It would be a wonderful opportunity to spend more time with your family. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Try a New Hobby or Craft
Pottery? Knitting? Watercolor? Digital art? You font have to become a pro, just make something with your hands and feel that simple joy of creating. Summer is the perfect time to experiment.
Summer Glow Up (Mind, Body & Soul Edition)
I’m calling it a glow-up, but not just in the beauty sense. Yes, I want to take care of my skin and refresh my wardrobe, but I also want to glow from the inside out. Think:
- Eating nourishing meals –
It’s not about restriction, it’s about giving yourself what you truly need to feel strong and energized. - Moving body regularly – Whether it’s the gym, yoga, dancing, or just walking, it makes a difference.
- Journaling – It’s one of the simplest yet most powerful tools for self-connection.
- Cleaning out your space – A clean and organized space directly impacts mental clarity. When your environment is calm, so are you.
- Take care of your skin – A consistent routine isn’t just about looking good, it’s about feeling refreshed, clean, and confident in my own skin.
- Doing things that light you up – Even if they scare you, is where real growth happens. Stepping outside your comfort zone is how you evolve.

If you’re looking for inspiration for your own summer, I hope this list sparked something. Whether you do one thing or ten, I hope you live a little more freely this season.
