Hey Sunshines!
Over the past few years, journaling has become one of my favorite things, and I thought it’d be fun to share some of my favorite pages with you for inspiration. This is just part one—I have plenty more ideas I’m excited to share with you soon!
Vision Board
A vision board is a visual tool used to represent your goals and dreams. It involves creating a collage of images, quotes, and items that symbolize what you want to achieve in areas like career, health, and relationships. By displaying it where you can see it daily, a vision board helps keep your goals in focus and inspires you to take action toward achieving them.

Monthly Review
A monthly review is a structured reflection on the past month to assess progress and set future goals. You can include:
- Significant events
- Key accomplishments and tasks completed
- Your thoughts about the whole month (what was good, what was bad, what did you learn etc.)
- Your favourite things from the month
- Photos from the month to visually capture memories
This practice helps track growth, stay aligned with long-term objectives, and maintain motivation.

Your Current Mood and Why
Writing about your current mood involves noting your emotional state (happy, sad, anxious, etc.), describing any physical sensations linked to it, reflecting on possible causes, and expressing accompanying thoughts. Mention any strategies you’re using to cope or enhance your mood. This practice increases self-awareness, helps manage emotions. Let your thoughts flow without fear—embrace honesty, and write with raw truth.

What You Love Lately
Writing down what you love lately boosts happiness and well-being by keeping you connected to your passions. It fosters gratitude, mindfulness, and helps identify what consistently brings you joy, guiding better decisions. This practice also provides motivation and inspiration during challenging times.

Random Questions for Yourself
Asking yourself random questions helps you learn more about yourself, think creatively, understand your emotions better, grow personally, and relieve stress. This practice makes you more aware of yourself and improves your thinking skills. You can start by answering briefly in one sentence or word. Then, follow up with a short sentence to elaborate on your thoughts. These are questions you can ask yourself:
- What has been the biggest influence in your life?
- What kind of things really make you laugh?
- What’s your favourite place in the entire world?
- What’s your biggest goal in life right now?
- One sentence to describe your perfect relationship.
- What’s your biggest fear?
- Do you believe in second chance?

Unforgettable Trips
Writing down an unforgettable trip helps preserve memories, provides a detailed account for future reference, and enhances storytelling skills. Include details like the places visited, activities enjoyed, people met, challenges faced, and your emotions and reflections throughout the journey. You can also add photos from the trip or memorabilia, such as train tickets or receipts, to make the account more vivid and personal. This practice helps you relive the experience and share it vividly with others.

Unforgivable Moments
Writing down unforgettable moments preserves memories, fosters reflection, boosts gratitude, encourages creativity, tracks growth, and creates a lasting legacy. To write about unforgettable moments, describe the event with key details—what happened, who was involved, and where it took place. Include your emotions, why it’s significant, and any lessons learned. Enhance your entry with sensory details, photos, or mementos like ticket stubs or meaningful objects.

Aesthetic Page
Creating an aesthetic page in your journal boosts creativity and makes journaling more engaging. When crafting your journal page, make it visually captivating by incorporating drawings or printed images, and include meaningful quotes that resonate with your choice. Select a color scheme that complements the essence of the item or experience, and add decorative borders or patterns to enhance the page. Write in a style that elevates the overall aesthetic. Whether it’s your favorite planet, plant, color, or any other cherished item, these touches will create a page that is both appealing and uniquely personal.

The Joy of Your Favourite Hobby
Writing about your favorite hobby boosts creativity, deepens your knowledge, reduces stress, increases motivation. When writing about your hobby, start by defining what it is and explaining why you love it. Describe the aspects that make it enjoyable and fulfilling. Then, enhance your journal page with pictures related to the hobby and use colors that reflect its essence. This combination of description and visual elements will create a vibrant and engaging representation of your passion.

A Book Review
A book review provides a brief summary of the plot or main ideas, evaluates the book’s strengths and weaknesses, and offers an overall recommendation. It also helps preserve your memory of the book, making it easier to recall later. Start with the basics: title, author, genre, and publication date. Summarise the key ideas or plot, and reflect on your reactions—what resonated or stood out to you? Include memorable quotes that impacted you. Finally, create a vision board with images or phrases that represent the book’s themes or emotions to enhance your reflection and add a creative, personal touch to your journal.

I truly hope you enjoy journaling as much as I have. It’s been such a rewarding and creative outlet for me over the years, allowing me to reflect, unwind, and explore new ideas. Whether you’re using it to capture memories, set goals, or just express yourself, I believe journaling can bring so much value to your life. I can’t wait to see how it inspires you, and I hope it brings you as much joy, peace, and creativity as it has for me!
